Refunds & Returns

At PLX (doing business as PLX 5D), we stand behind the quality and scientific rigor of our PLX 5D Experience Wheel™ assessment. Because our products are digital goods delivered instantly over the Internet, they generally cannot be "returned." This Policy explains how we handle refunds, cancellations, and exceptions.
This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By purchasing a product from plx5d.com, you agree to the terms below.
1. Digital Assessments and Reports
General Rule — No Refunds on Accessed Content
Due to the nature of digital content, we do not offer refunds for the PLX 5D Experience Wheel™ Assessment, PDF Reports, Pro content, or Team content once they have been accessed, started, or downloaded.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:
- You are buying an immediate license to access digital content.
- You expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract (delivery of the assessment and related content) upon payment.
- You lose your right of withdrawal (the statutory "cooling-off period", where applicable) once the download or assessment has started, to the extent such waiver is permitted by the law of your jurisdiction.
When We Will Issue a Refund
We will issue a full refund if:
- Technical failure — you could not access the assessment or download your report due to a technical error on our side, and our support team was unable to resolve it within 48 hours of your report;
- Duplicate payment — you were accidentally charged twice for the same product;
- Non-delivery — you never received the access link or confirmation email (and it is not in your spam folder), and you contacted us within 7 days of purchase;
- Statutory right — you are within a statutory cooling-off period that applies to your purchase (see Section 3) and you have not yet started the assessment or accessed the digital content.
What Is Not Grounds for a Refund
- "I didn't like my results" — the PLX 5D is a self-assessment tool based on your own inputs. We cannot refund based on disagreement with the analysis generated from your answers.
- "I changed my mind" — once you have logged in and started the questionnaire or viewed your report, the service has been consumed.
- Buyer's remorse after completion — completing the assessment and then requesting a refund is not a qualifying reason.
2. Team Plans and Coaching Services
Coaching or workshop sessions: you may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund or reschedule at no cost.
No-shows: if you miss a scheduled session without at least 24 hours' notice, the session is forfeited and non-refundable.
Team assessment seats: unused seats are non-refundable once the Team Dashboard has been activated and any seat has been assigned or redeemed.
Unactivated Team Plans: if you have purchased a Team Plan but have not yet activated the Team Dashboard, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
3. EU, UK, and Other Statutory Rights
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, and similar laws in other jurisdictions, consumers typically have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase.
For digital content, this right does not apply once performance has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment that the right is lost. By clicking "Pay Now" or "Complete Order" and then starting the assessment or accessing the content, you:
- Expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract;
- Acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once performance begins.
If you have not yet started the assessment or accessed the digital content, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of purchase by emailing us at info@plx5d.com. We will process the refund within 14 days of receiving your valid request.
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have under the law of your jurisdiction.
4. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for a refund, contact us promptly:
- Email: info@plx5d.com
- Subject line: Refund Request – Order #[your order number]
- Include: your name, the email used at purchase, the order number, and a brief explanation (including any technical issue or error message).
Our review timeline:
- We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- We review and make a decision within 5 business days.
- If approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days (timing depends on your bank or card issuer).
5. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to:
- Immediately revoke access to your PLX 5D account, reports, and any associated services;
- Dispute the chargeback with evidence of delivery, including login activity, IP address, timestamps, and digital access logs;
- Refuse future purchases from the same customer or payment method.
We strongly prefer to resolve issues directly. If something is wrong, please email us before contacting your bank — we want to help.
6. Fraud and Abuse
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive, or part of a pattern of repeated refund claims. Accounts engaged in fraud may be terminated without refund, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date shown at the top of this Policy.
